We have a whole range of events to celebrate the launch of the ten-person collaborative novel, Circ.
Tonight (Tuesday) – Meet the Authors – 6pm – 7pm – Library of Birmingham
Come meet four of the authors, get a first-chance opportunity to hear what it was like to write a novel with ten people and hear preview readings from the book.
Friday – Circ Launch Event – 6:30pm – Library of Birmingham
Starting with a glass of fizz and chat in the library Bookbox with the presentation in the Studio Theatre from 7pm, this is an opportunity to find out whether the project was a success, how it grew from inception to completion. Raise a glass with us and meet eight of the ten authors at this celebration evening.
Saturday – Hard Day’s Write – 9am – 5pm – Library of Birmingham
An all-day writing challenge which you can participate in. Writers will be writing an on-going story over the course of the day, each picking up where the last left off. The results will be displayed on the wall of the library.
Saturday – Separated by a Common Language – 2pm – 3pm – Library of Birmingham
Come meet four of the authors and discover the challenges and pitfalls of writing a UK-set novel with an international team of writers. Can English-speaking writers around the world work together?
